2FACE IDIBIA IN ACCRA FOR “ANGEL BALL”

Award-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer, 2Face Idibia arrived in Accra earlier on today to raise funds for premature babies in the country.

2Face, whose active music career started decades ago, is joining LittleBigSouls, an international charitable organisation to hold a fundraising event at Alisa Hotel today Saturday, November 14.

Themed, “African Royalty,” the 4th annual fundraising event, dubbed “Angel Ball” seeks to raise money to complete the Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) centre at the Tema General Hospital and also to set up a new KMC centre of excellence.

“Kangaroo Mother Care” is a low-cost intervention which encourages skin to skin contact between new mothers and preemies as a proven way to improve breathing, body temperature, feeding and bonding in the stable newborns.
