Legendary Highlife Musician and Saxophonist Gyedublay Ambulley has refused to officially accept his defeat at the just ended MUSIGA elections.

After complaining about some discrepancies in the process of proxy voting during voting, Ambulley walked out of the conference hall inside Oyinka Hotel in Koforidua looking very disappointed just after the results was declared and he never returned.

The “Radumzo” hit maker refused to officially accept the results, he refused to congratulate Obour, he didn’t give any acceptance speech and he refused to speak to any media person who wanted to interview him after the election.

He drove straight back to Accra immediately the results were announced and has since not author a word. Ambulley has reportedly threatened legal action to challenge Obour’s win in court.

Meanwhile Appietus spoke on Peace FM’s “Entertainment Review” after the elections. He congratulated Obour and stated that he was ready to work with Obour when he invites him but only if he would listen to him.

Obour won the election with 88 votes, Ambulley got 22 votes and Appietus had 18 votes. This would be Obour’s second term as president, Ambulley’s second attempt and Appietus’ first attempt.
