Some embittered youths at Damongo rejected the bags of rice the Member of Parliament for Damongo Constituency, Abu Jinapor presented to them for the Eid celebrations.
The youth of which some are supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Busunu, a suburb of Damongo constituency were captured in a video throwing back the bags of rice into the pick-up that conveyed the rice to the area.
We gathered that prior to the 2020 elections, Abu Jinapor had promised the youth of his constituency jobs but to their disappointment, they have remained unemployed since fulfilling their part of the agreement by voting for the MP, who has even become a minister of mines and natural resources.
