A 9-year-old boy known as Anthony Appiah has touched hearts on social media after trying to solicit for financial assistance for his family who is struggling to make ends meet
In the touching letter we stumbled on social media, the young boy who’s a class pupil revealed that his father, who is commercial (Trotro) driver whose car engine has broken down while his mother is also jobless.
Anthony Appiah was appealing to Ghanaians to intervene and help his parents get some jobs so they can take on his sibling to hospital who has been sick for awhile and also said that they did not also have money to eat in the house.
Moreover, during their morning devotion prayers, after thanking God for the gift of life the next they do is to weep together.
The letter which found it way on Twitter was shared by a handle @abenamagis, at the end a good Samaritan decided to donate to help the family.
An amount of GHc900 was given to the boy to handover to his mother who was seen crying being overwhelmed by the kindness of the unidentified person and the effort of her son to help the situation.
The mother of the boy hugged him while weeping, a witness who video what was going on was heard advising the boy to be obedient to his parents no matter the situation.
