Ghanaian actress, Gloria Sarfo is currently in a state of shock after hearing about the new name the Ghana film industry has been given.
It was reported that some industry stakeholders gathered to deliberate on the name the movie industry should be identified just like Nigerians have Nollywood, Indians have Bollywood, Americans have Hollywood and others.
Hitherto, Ghanaians terms our movie industry as Ghallywood, whilst others called it Kumawood, but in this recent post by Gloria Sarfo, it appears the stakeholders came to a consensus and have come up with a name but it does not augur well with Gloria Sarfo as she has subtly registered her displeasure in the new name.
She posted asking the name of the Ghana film industry again then asking that someone please wake her up because she’s still dreaming adding that someone should just tap her shoulders to see if what she saw or heard is true.
