Outspoken lawmaker and Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has stated that Ghana’s presidential jet which has been abandoned by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is now being used other Africa presidents.
According to the Ranking Member on Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee, the presidential jet has been turned into a presidential Uber for other African heads of state.
His reactions come after the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway justified the use of Ghana’s presidential jet by other presidents in the West African Sub-region.
Ayorkor Botchway made this known in response to questions on the presidential jet posed to her by Ablakwa on Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
