‘YETE SIKA SO’ BUT YOUR GOVERNMENT NEEDS E-LEVY TO REDUCE HARDSHIP IN GHANA – Kumawood actor calls out Nana Akufo-Addo

Actor Sean Paul has slammed the president, Nana Akufo Addo for resorting to e-levy as a way of reviving the economy despite saying infamously that Ghana is rich yet the citizens are hungry when he was in opposition.

Sean Paul stated that the electronic levy will worsen the plight of Ghanaians in this prevailing hardship being experienced under the stewardship of Nana Akufo Addo.

“I wonder why the president, who told Ghanaians, ‘yete sika so,’ is pushing Ghanaians to pay the E-Levy before his government can improve Ghana,” he’s quoted by Ghanafeed as saying.

“A country with fertile terrain and abundant natural resources, such as Ghana, does not require loans or E-levy to grow its economy,” Sean Paul remarked.

“God has blessed Ghana with everything a country needs to develop, but our difficulty is Ghana’s lack of leaders who are concerned about the country. They’ve all come to better themselves and their families, with little regard for the country.

Furthermore, Ghanaians chastised the adoption of the E-Levy, but Nana Addo’s government ignored the public outcry because they believe they now have sovereignty, but the same that brought them to power will return them to the opposition.”
