‘MONEY MAKES YOU FORGET ABOUT EDUCATION – Cee Shares Regret Of Not Going To School

Gospel singer, Cee from Mentor 2 reality TV show, has missed out on financial support for her schooling.

Cee, born Cynthia Appiah Kubi said that she was influenced by money.

The gospel singer admitted that after she started making money from music, she gave up on her aspirations of becoming a journalist.

She revealed in an interview with SVTV Africa that TV celebrity Emma Morrison gave her a scholarship but she ultimately decided to pursue music instead of her education.

The singer admits that she occasionally regrets not going back to school since it would have helped her land a better job in the US.

Cee is currently employed by a daycare facility run by a Ghanaian.

Cee claims that while she has attempted to promote her music in Ghana, it hasn’t been simple.

Emma also registered me to start school, but I had to travel to Europe for some awards. I travelled to Germany, Italy, Holland, etc., and when the money keeps coming you forget everything else. I forgot about the education, she added.

“I regret it sometimes because education helps. There is God’s Grace, but it helps if you have some education attached to it. If I had a university degree at least, I would have joined a company here. There are many Ghanaians with businesses here.”
