Management of United Television chose to honor iconic Ghanaian movie actor and producer Kwaku Twumasi over the weekend.
The legendary actor was called as a guest to offer his thoughts on how Ghana’s film industry, particularly Kumawood, which has seemed to be dying in recent years, should be revitalized.
When the program was over, Nana Ama Mcbrown, the host of the program, took the stage with her panel of experts to represent the TV station’s management and give a GHC10,000 check.
Kwasi Twumasi received a 65-inch Hisense television and a 4-door refrigerator from the show’s host Nana Ama Mcbrown, who also serves as the company’s brand ambassador.
UTV has already paid tribute to giants in the entertainment sector like Grace Omaboe, alias Maame Dokono, the late iconic Highlife musician A.B. Crentsil, and others.
