The tenacious NPP lawmaker KT Hammond has insisted that the country’s leadership is not for the impressionable young people who are prone to uncertainty and mistakes.
He claims that the majority of these young people in Ghana know nothing about leadership and are solely concerned with attacking those in positions of authority.
President Akufo-Addo was booed at the Global Citizen Festival over the weekend, and KT Hammond condemned those who carried it out in response.
He continued by saying that in his culture, people always consult the elderly when making major decisions that call for leadership and consideration. Thus, the youth’s zeal to always be on their leaders’ backs was deceiving.
Only the elderly, in KT Hammond’s opinion, are suitable for leadership roles due to their exposure and experience.
Having a go at those who staged the heckling of the President, KT Hammond did not mince words when he said, “These young people only have beards but have no sense in their heads.”
