Following the passing of Ifeanyi, the son of Davido, according to news from Daily Post, the police have detained domestic staff of the singer.
The domestic staff is rumored to have been taken into police custody by the Lagos State Police Command in response to rumors of the death of Davido’s kid, Ifeanyi.
The spokesperson of the Lagos Staes Police, Benjamind Hundeyin confirmed the death of Ifeanyi and also the detainment of the domestic staff of Davido. The arrested individuals includes; the nanny and eight other people who were present at the Banana Island mansion when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Chioma and Davido were reported to have been out of the house when the sad incident happened in the late hours of yesterday. The little boy was said to have drowned in the swimming pool in their family house.
The PPRO has disclosed that investigations are currently ongoing to unravel the cause of the boy’s death and how he fell in the pool.
He said, “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.
“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”.
