In a recent interview with Kastle FM, gospel singer Piesie Esther brought up the issue of married gospel musicians being handled by men other than their spouses when it come to management of their brand.
Piesie Esther thinks it’s dangerous for a married woman to have a man as her boss. She claimed that knowing that her spouse came first and that she owed him nothing else made having him as her manager easier for her.
The singer’s statement that she might stay in the studio until 2:00 a.m. before leaving is intolerable to some married men.
“Because of my job schedule, which requires me to travel to the studio late at night to record, finding someone who understands the nature of my work is quite helpful,” she continued.
Some married guys find it unbearable that the singer says she may stay in the studio until 2:00 a.m. before going home.
Having your husband as your employer may help defuse potentially dangerous circumstances, such as going up and down the stairs with a guy who is not your spouse in the middle of the night.
“After a performance, I occasionally need to switch to a different outfit, and I do so in the car with my husband present since I am aware that he is the one I am married to,” Piesie Esther remarked in the interview.
