Okomfo Koleege, a Ghanaian comedian actor, has spoken for the first time since his wife was buried.
The Kumawood celebrity unfortunately lost his wife and newborn child in the hospital shortly after the deceased delivered, about two months ago.
Many of his followers, as well as actors and musicians, expressed their sympathy for him on social media after the sad news dominated social media trends.
Last month, Okomfo Koleege’s wife was laid to rest, and many famous people showed up to the funeral to comfort their friend.
In an exclusive conversation with Kwaku Manu, Okomfo Koleege discussed how he lost both his wife and son in that terrible way. He recalled how he was overjoyed when he learned that his wife had given birth.
However, when his wife was set to give birth and after she was admitted to the maternity ward, he had taken her to the hospital without delay.
He claimed that none of the pharmacies he visited had a pad for the wife, so the nurses came to him to get one.
Kwaku Manu was informed by him that the wife had passed away when the nurses approached him to purchase the aforementioned pad. They found it difficult to inform him of the situation at the moment.
Later, he learned that her wife had given birth to a boy.
Unaware that his wife had passed away, he knelt down to glorify God and sing praise hymns.
Before going to the ward to view the wife and newborn baby as he had been told previously, the doctor on duty asked that Kolege accompany him to his car.
The Kumawood actor continued his account of the events by claiming that he escorted the doctor to his car, where he sat down and the doctor activated the central lock.
