According to an autopsy performed by the pathologist for the Ghana Police Service, Shadrach Arloo, 32, who passed away last week at the West Hills Mall after a confrontation with a police officer and a private security guard, choked to death.
According to the autopsy, he choked to death after ingesting a piece of black polythene that was thought to contain “marijuana,”
The death of Arloo’s brother brought attention to his case last week when his sister, gospel singer Perpetual Didier, accused the police of the crime.
She claimed that her brother was involved in a collision with a police officer and unexpectedly passed away.
The official autopsy conducted by the police revealed that the deceased indeed choked to death.
A black polythene bag was discovered in his airway during the autopsy, which was done in front of his family and legal counsel, according to a police statement.
When the contents of the polythene were examined, weed was discovered.
