Odarky Andy, of TV3 Mentor fame, has revealed that shortly after becoming well-known in the music industry, he almost joined a criminal cartel.
Odarky Andy claims that a Large man who asked to be his producer approached him after he was announced as the first runner-up for TV3 Mentor.
Odarky In an interview with Accra-based OKAY FM, Andy revealed how a stranger approached him after getting his number from TV3.
Andy claimed that he learned about the man’s cartel’s plans to ship cocaine from Ghana to Germany from the man’s driver during their conversation.
He learned about the transportation of cocaine from Ghana to Germany for the cartel the man leads from his conversation with the man’s driver.
“After mentor, a man approached TV3 that he wants to be my producer. He took my number and reached out to me. He said he wanted to make me travel. We met four times and all the days we met, he gave me Ghc2,000. He used to point to luxurious cars he owns and made me aware that he can change my life.”
He continued while speaking to Abeiku Sanatana “the man didn’t mention what he wanted me to do but just said he wanted me to travel. From a conversation I had with his driver, I was told it was cocaine he wants me to take to Germany”.
“But for an elderly man whose advice I sought, I would have ended up transporting cocaine and if I get caught that would have been the need for me. Being famous is challenging and pushing people into all manner of things”.
