Asked whether he has ever been scared for his life after joking about someone’s issue, he said, “Not really.”
Yet, he believed that in order to avoid controversy, comedians should be wise and considerate when discussing other people’s personal difficulties.
Clemento Suarez claimed that while humor used to be generated in stories in comparison to more recent generations, it is now more of a stage performance and instant occurring.
“At that time, they created jokes like they were telling stories, but now ours is more situational stuff. We use what is happening to create the jokes.”
He responded “yes” when asked if the industry is profitable, but added that in order to take advantage of the profitability, both the brand and the individual must be creative and original.
