Socialite, Hajia Bintu, has admitted her wrongs and rendered an apology to the general public after receiving a myriad of criticisms for promoting love potions to her fans on social media.
A video of the Ghanaian socialite advertising a love spell products she named as ‘fuck n stay’, ‘love & pay’ and ‘attraction to richman’ has gone viral since last night.
In a video she posted online, she can be seen promoting a substance that, in her opinion, can control men when applied to women’s foreheads and other body areas.
Internet users condemned Hajia Bintu’s behavior and called her a bad role model for young people.
Actor Prince David Osei commenting on the video said “why should anyone in the right senses promote sale of charms and voodoo to hypnotize people, on social media, come on now!!“
“No wonder most young ladies now shy away from hard work but prefer doing hook ups and getting paid! Sad generation,” he concluded.
- Responding to this and other reactions, Hajia Bintu has issued an apology. In a post shared on her snapchat account, she said “I want to take this opportunity to apologize to all. I promote products for various brands and this time my management team and I, were negligent in accessing the effects of marketing products that a vendor brought to us.
In the screenshot of the post below, she concluded that “I have no intentions to attract such “out of line” effects on the General Public, myself and my brand. I am sincerely sorry for this act“
