Nana Obiri Boahen, a former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has slammed the government’s allocation of resources and priorities.
In an interview on Neat FM on October 18, 2023, he particularly focused on the construction of the National Cathedral, stating that there are more urgent issues in the country that require attention and resources.
He emphasized the need for critical healthcare institutions like the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to have sufficient dialysis machines.
Obiri pointed out that these facilities are vital for delivering healthcare services to Ghanaians and the absence of essential equipment, such as dialysis machines, is a cause for concern.
