Musician Black Sherif says he is aware that the only thing he has control of is his talent.
He says that because of this reality, he wakes up every day and tries his best to be more than he was the previous day.
To him, all other things can be controlled by people but his talent is innate and therefore his duty to make something better from it.
“Every day I wake up and try to be more than who I was yesterday because that is the only thing I have control over.
People can deny everything but my ability to make my beautiful songs and performances; nah I have control over that ” he said in an interview with Nobuke.
