TIKTOKER JARVIS THREATENS LEGAL ACTION AGAINST PELLER OVER MONEY-LAUNDERING ALLEGATION

Management Gives 48-Hour Ultimatum for Public Apology, Threatens Lawsuit

The management of popular TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth, famously known as Jadrolita or Jarvis, has issued a stern legal threat to fellow content creator Hamzat Habeeb, alias Peller, following allegations that linked her to money laundering activities on the platform.

The controversy began during a recent TikTok livestream where Peller claimed that money laundering occurs through TikTok’s gifting system and suggested Jarvis’s involvement. Clips from the broadcast circulated widely on social media, capturing Peller’s remarks.

He alleged that a “gifter” who once supported him had proposed a 50:50 split of the revenue generated from TikTok gifts, an offer he claimed to have refused. Peller cited this as an example of how money is laundered on the platform and expressed surprise that Jarvis was not as wealthy as he thought, implying she was part of such schemes.

Although the two creators appeared to have reconciled shortly after the incident, as indicated by their friendly interactions on social media, the dispute has now escalated formally.

In a statement released on Sunday, Jarvis’s management company, Aiso Entertainment, described the allegations as “false, defamatory and damaging to her reputation.” The company, operating via the Instagram handle @aisohub, stated that the claims were “patently false and malicious” and insisted that their client has never been involved in any illegal financial activities.

“The management of Jadrolita, alongside Jadrolita herself, unequivocally and categorically refutes this egregious claim in its entirety,” the statement read.

The management has given Peller a 48-hour ultimatum to issue an “immediate, unconditional, and publicly disseminated apology” to Jarvis and her team. Failure to comply, they warned, would result in legal action.

Characterizing the allegation as “reputational sabotage,” Aiso Entertainment insisted that the matter would not be taken lightly and would be pursued to protect Jarvis’s integrity and brand.

This public feud and the subsequent legal threat mark a significant moment for Ghana’s burgeoning content creator industry. It highlights the increasing professionalization of online personalities and their willingness to use legal avenues to protect their brands from defamation.

As the 48-hour deadline looms, the online community watches closely. Peller’s response whether an apology is issued or the situation escalates to the courts will set a notable precedent for how serious allegations between digital creators are handled moving forward. The outcome could redefine the boundaries of public commentary and accountability within the influencer space.
