THE MEDIA IS ON AN AGENDA TO DISCREDIT CHEDDAR – Music Producer, Hammer Raise Red Flag

Music producer and entreprenuer, Hammer has reacted to Nana Kwame Bediako’s grass-to-grace story and his quest to become the president of Ghana as commences his campaign with a media tour.

The Founder of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, urged Ghanaians not to probe the source of his money, but to concentrate on the progress he can bring to the country.

Speaking on Tuesday on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen, Mr. Bediako emphasized that Ghanaians should rejoice and learn from individuals who have achieved great success rather than criticizing or questioning them.

“If someone makes money and decides to spend it, I can’t question him. He can decide to use it for what he wants even if he wants to use his money to buy beer and khebab.” he said.

He revealed that he began earning money while working for a telecom company, which he later sold and began to resell scraps.

“It went from the scraps to collecting piles of scraps, then I give it to the steel yards. The steel yards are the ones who buy steel and right now a company like B5 also buys scraps which they use for iron rods and sell.”

“When I made my money, I started a business in Ghana and the business is what I’m investing in the country. So if Ghanaians don’t like this, then what do they like,” he asked.

Reacting to this on social media, Hammer, raised suspicions of sabotage by the media as they sought to discredit him with questions about his source of wealth.

In his view, the claims by radio and television presenters that Ghanaians want to know where he made all his money from is untrue but an agenda they are setting to put some impression into their minds against Cheddar.

He wrote; “Ghanaians aren’t asking anything. It’s the media that’s on an agenda to discredit him before he’s heard. Simplicita”.
