I HAVE RESPONDED TO GOD’S CALL – Actress, Victoria Lebene Announces New Path

Identifying your purpose in life and knowing what you are called to do life is very significant as far as making an impact is concerned and award-winning Ghanaian actress, brand ambassador and entrepreneur, Victoria Lebene seems to have awakened the spirit of God in her and the world will see her manifest the attributes of Jesus in her after finally responding to the call of God on her life.

Victoria Lebene who was raised in the fear of the Lord since her formative years abandoned the purpose of service to the Lord to seek her own will, and after so many years, she can’t keep dismissing the urge as she believes the time for her to take up the mantle of impacting society with the fear of the Lord has come.

In an exclusive interview with Nkonkonsa.com , the delectable screen diva and skincare expert intimated that since childhood, she sensed the calling of God on her life but she was unsure about it till now.

She said that she will not quit acting but she will be very selective and purposeful in the kind of movie productions she gets involved in because of the direction she has embarked, however, she pointed out that she does not necessarily need to enrol in a bible school although the Bible School is relevant in building the spiritual and mental knowledge in the faith.

Talking about what kinds of roles she will be playing in her subsequent film productions, Victoria Lebene established that she will look out for the moral of the story or the end of the story as she believes the film should have the message of characters changing their ways from ‘evil or perverse’ to ‘good’.

“When you give me a script and I read the script, I make sure that at the end of the script, the moral of the story is very motivating and inspiring. If for instance in the film, I was a prostitute and turned into an evangelist or life coach or corporate girl or I acted promiscuous and later saw the light and turned a new leaf, it is all part of doing God’s work.

That is how I am turning out now. These things were already there. They were embedded in me as skills but they were not seen because I had gone through a certain growth of lifestyle where I was exposed to certain things because of my line of work and you will go through things in life before God redirects you to your actual purpose”.

Victoria Lebene reiterated that now, her direction is geared towards mentorship, empowerment programs, public speaking in person and on social media using her image and personality to inspire and motivate people by teaching and offering advice that can come in the form of inspirational quotes and other diverse ways.

Victoria Lebene spoke about the skills that are inherent in her and will use them effectively and efficiently to achieve her goal. She added that embarking on philanthropic activities and giving back to society is part of God’s work and she will take that aspect of the work also.

“I am a humanitarian, I studied Development Communication because I know that I had the gift to do God’s work, I have the gift to help change things in life. It could be in someone’s life. It could be in my own life. I have a gift to serve as an advocate for change”.

She, however, established that her new direction in life is not a result of her becoming born-again because she gave her life to Christ several years ago and the Holy Spirit has been living in her ever since, rather, she has now succumbed to the will of God to be used as a vessel in propagating the gospel of Christ through her field of endeavours.

According to her, she has a purpose on this earth to serve as a motivational speaker, great mentor and an inspiring woman who through her utterances and actions many people will endeavour to change their ways and live godly lives.

“Even at my workplace I’m a mentor, I need to make sure my employees are well-trained and advised on how to do things and present themselves. Even in church I’m a mentor. I need to make sure that people who are looking up to me are receiving the best information on my social media pages. I need to depict that calling. Definitely because of what I have been through, and my journey, I can use my life experiences as an example but the main agenda is not sharing my life experience” she added.

Victoria Lebene said her fans and Ghanaians should expect to see her in videos sharing life nuggets, inspirational and motivational messages, sharing the word of God, on social media, carrying out mentorship programs as well as speaking at various empowerment programs in Ghana and internationally.

The mother of two recently attended the Alice Talk World Conference 2024, which was held at Legon Business School in Accra. where she spoke on women empowerment.
