ONE WEEK OBSERVATION FOR JOHN KUMAH SLATED FOR MARCH 28

The one-week observation ceremony for the late Ejisu Member of Parliament (MP), John Kumah, is scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2024. It will be held at Ejisu-Onwe in the Ashanti Region.

The announcement was made by Kwasi Owusu Twumasi, spokesperson for the family of the deceased Deputy Finance Minister, during their visit to President Nana Akufo-Addo on Wednesday.

Accompanied by New Patriotic Party (NPP) executives, including General Secretary Frimpong Justin Kodua, the visit to the Jubilee House aimed to formally inform President Akufo-Addo of the MP’s passing.

Expressing his condolences, the President assured the family of his attendance at the ceremony, lamenting John Kumah’s untimely death as a painful loss. He praised the late MP as one of the party’s dynamic youth with leadership potential.

John Kumah passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving behind a wife and six children.
