YOU’RE 67 YEARS AND YOU’RE STRUGGLING WITH ELECTRICITY – Kofi Oduro Chides Gov’t Over Dumsor

Worries about the mediocre performance of Ghanaian leaders have been voiced by Prophet Kofi Oduro.

According to him, those in positions of leadership do not possess the necessary qualities to elevate the nation, unlike other nations that provide similar opportunities to their citizens.

His main concern has been that instead of accepting accountability and resolving the issues they were called in to address, the leadership keeps placing the blame elsewhere.

Prophet Kofi Oduro finds it incomprehensible that a nation that is 67 years old would find it difficult to turn on the lights.

Prophet Kofi Oduro finds it incomprehensible that a nation that is 67 years old would find it difficult to turn on the lights.

You are 67 years and you are struggling with common electricity. Electricity is common. It’s a common amenity. What is happening is not a lack of supply, it’s a money issue. This electricity is revealing how flawed our leadership is. I don’t care about your parties and I don’t care about who is in power,” he said.

Speaking on his visit to an embassy some weeks ago he said “One day I saw over 600 people applying for visa. Can you imagine 600 multiplied by 30 days and you see the people who want to leave Africa?”.

Given the number of people who are making great efforts to ensure their departure from the continent, he believes that Africa’s leadership is faulty and that the problem affects not only Ghana but the entire continent.
