‘DUMSORMUSTSTOP’ VIGIL IS NOT NECESSARY…99% OF THE PEOPLE WHO WILL JOIN IS JUST FOR CLOUT – Actress Habiba Sinare

Actress Habiba Sinare, from Ghana, believes there is no need to protest the recent, catastrophic power outages (dumsor) that the nation has been experiencing.

She claimed that if they had wanted to, the government would have taken action to address the dumsor concerns.

During a talk on United Showbiz, Habiba discussed the development and stated that she would not participate in any planned “dumsor” protest, calling it pointless.

“I won’t join any protest. Who said they don’t know we are suffering? What haven’t we done in this country for the International media to pick it up? Where are we? We are still where we are and worse. Ghana is a small country and we shouldn’t go through what we are going through.

“We are better than this. This dumsor thing there is nothing I can say or do about it because I don’t work at the Ministry of Energy. But it seems that it’s like we are not entitled to know more and nobody is entitled to explain anything to us. We deserve better. I prayed for Ghana during Ramadan and I hope we do well,” she said while speaking on Accra-based United Television.

Habiba Sinare, however, begged the administration to make sure that power is, at the very least, stabilized at the nation’s numerous health facilities.

Influential Ghanaians have been urged to demonstrate against the “dumsor” issues by taking to the streets.
