Actress Nikki Samonas has clarified that she is not being rejected by men as some people assumed based on her recent tweet.
“People might have understood my tweet differently and it blew out of proportion. First of all no one wants to be dumped. So I should have provided clarity on there no dumping me, there’s no me dumping you. People felt I was being dumped. Please, I have a boy, I’m not being dumped,” she said
The actress in a tweet earlier this year said: “Dating me in 2024… there’s no dumping me, Am too old for that shit. If your love is finished we will use mine, I will hotspot you. Don’t play with me this year !! Respectfully”.
During an interview with TV3, she explained that her tweet aimed to uplift spirits on X given the evolving nature of relationships and the increasing assertiveness of women in relationships nowadays.
She mentioned that most responses to her post focused on men being exhausted from dealing with women and the importance of women being open about their emotions.
“The guys were literally hailing me on the app. We also want to feel wanted, loved and approached. In the same way you give us subtle ideas on whether you like us or not that’s the same thing they want. They want us to be enthusiastic about them,” she said.
