Singer Mzbel, coming off her critically acclaimed performance at the just-ended Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), has lamented the extraordinarily high cost of living in Ghana.
In a video shared to social media, Mzbel shared how shocked she was when she went to town to buy tomatoes and was shown one tomato piece that cost Ghc 5.
The tomato was not even that big in size to warrant such an outrageous price but that is what Mzbel said she was being forced to pay!
She lamented how high the prices of everything is these days and even revealed that she’s paying an unsustainable Ghc 200 daily for electricity.
Mzbel said due to all these financial pressures the stress on her has increased dramatically making things difficult for her.
