Ghanaian Afrobeats star, Camidoh, advises those who have experienced heartbreak to not internalize the pain.
He has recommended that individuals in similar situations should seek professional assistance and confide in others about their issues, just like he did.
“Go through therapy, talk to somebody, be open about it; it’s fine,” he noted.
He added that something else that aided in moving on from his heartbreak was driving alone at night and socializing with others.
The smooth-sounding singer gave this guidance during an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
This follows the launch of his latest song, which exposes a regrettable event from approximately one year ago.
‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ is a true life tale conveyed through lyrics, melodies, and rhythm.
Camidoh himself, as well as Nawtyboi Tattoo and Baba Wood, produced the song.
Camidoh states that the song discusses the highs and lows of love. It suggests using some reasoning to avoid experiencing as much pain as Camidoh did.
“I wouldn’t say much but losing a partner I loved very much to a few arguments or misunderstandings here and there hurts so bad,” he says indicating that the incident has nothing to do with infidelity.
He further mentions that he broke down completely, got depressed and had to go through a therapy session.
“I made a lot of life long plans with this person,” he added.
The music video to ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ complements the story by accentuating the essence of seeking help in situations like this.
Camidoh’s songs keep gaining prominence among music lovers, with his global hit ‘Sugarcane Remix’, which features Mayorkun, King Promise, and Darkoo, clocking over 100 million views on YouTube, in just one year. This makes it the most viewed Ghanaian music video on YouTube.
