Hiplife veteran, Barima Sidney has disclosed how most of his friends in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stopped picking up his calls and replying to his text messages after winning power.
“Let me tell you something about this current NPP government where I had a lot of people that I called my friends because I knew them before they won power. But after they won elections, there were a lot of them that when you call their phones, they will not even respond to them and even when you text them, they won’t reply,” he said in an interview with Amansan Krakye sighted by MyNewsGh.com
Eulogizing the late Hon. John Kumah on Cape Coast-based Property FM, he said the former parliamentarian was the only one genuine among his friends in the NPP.
He spoke fondly of John Kumah “But there’s this particular man right from day one, this man always, unless you don’t send him a message, he’ll reply and ask you to come and see him at parliament or other places.
“He’ll ask you what you want to do right now and let you know some of the opportunities in the policies they’re rolling out and direct you on how to apply for it. This is a man who listened, and from the time that he died until now, I’ve never been myself because we were very close. Even though I did not know he was sick, I sent him a message, and he would reply once in a while”. He disclosed
