Ghanaian socialite Afia Schwarzenegger has expressed her disagreement with National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang regarding her assertion on the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy.
She claims that the statements from some NDC figures, such as Prof. Opoku-Agyemang, suggesting that their party started the Free SHS policy are not true.
The socialite thinks that the policy was solely driven by the current NPP administration, under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and successfully implemented it.
Afia believes that the statements made by NDC members are intended to deceive the public in order to gain support leading up to the upcoming general elections.
On her Instagram page, Schwarzenegger shared a video featuring Prof. Opoku-Agyemang stating, “I want you all to understand that when we talk about Free SHS, we [NDC] started it.”
In response, Afia commented under the post, “Liar to liar.”
