Wendy Shay, an artist signed to RuffTown Records, has surprised her fans by revealing that breaking up with her boyfriend was the best choice she has ever made.
She said that her split with her former boyfriend had an impact on her choice to create her survivor song.
She mentioned that the song exceeded her expectations and also resulted in her earning money and performing internationally.
“I am free now and I think it is one of the best decisions I took. Sometimes it is good to leave some people. I make a lot of money now and I am now a global artiste.
When you go to South Africa, I am very big there. Even though I was big in New Zealand and Figi Island, Survivor is one of the songs I’ve made huge cash from,” she said.
She revealed that the relationship didn’t work out because she was heavily focused on her music career and didn’t fully commit to making the relationship succeed.
