CHEF SMITH’S ACTIONS WAS MOTIVATED BY DESIRE FOR PERSONAL FAME – Amadia Shopping Center Says In New Press Release

Management of Amadia Shopping Center has once again issued a statement providing an update on the fake Guinness World Records Cook-A-Thon attempt by Ghanaian chef, Chef Smith.

As reported earlier, it was discovered that the Guinness World Records certificate Chef Smith presented at the press conference had been confirmed as fake.

In a press statement released on July 6, 2024, management indicated that Chef Smith admitted to the management of Amadia Shopping Center that he falsified all processes and documentation related to his Guinness World Record attempt for the longest cooking marathon.

According to them, Chef Smith’s confession reveals that his actions were motivated by a desire for personal fame and media attention and he has thus issued a sincere apology to the Chief Executive Officer of Amadia Shopping Center and all those involved in supporting the project.

They expressed gratitude to the media and the Ghanaian public for their continued support in this matter and thanked the Police for their swift and comprehensive investigation.
