Gospel singer Celestine Donkor has expressed her gratitude to renowned retired boxer Azumah Nelson for funding her high school education on his 66th birthday.
The vocalist shared that if the kind-hearted boxer hadn’t intervened promptly, she wouldn’t have been able to continue her senior high school education.
“A glorious birthday to the man who gave me secondary education. My family at that time had no idea how my secondary education would be funded, except for this great man. Happy birthday, Azumah Zoom Nelson. I thank God for your life,” she wrote on social media.
