Keche Joshua, one-half of the popular Ghanaian music duo Keche has stated that he is prepared to support a political party in exchange for $10 million.
During an interview with Kingdom FM in Accra, Keche Joshua mentioned that he would publicly support any political party that offers him the mentioned amount, and he would also consider retiring if asked.
“If anyone comes and gives me 10 million dollars to endorse a political party, I will openly campaign for that political party. Even if the person says I should retire, I will do as he says,” he shared.
Asked if his demands were not outrageous, Keche Joshua noted that some individuals in power possess such an amount, stating, “There are people in power who have a lot of money to the extent that their house helps are stealing up to a million dollars. So I can get it.”
He highlighted the requirement for payment to be made in either US dollars or UK pounds, as he feels Ghanaian cedis would not be enough.
“No, not cedis, it’s too small. It will get finished quickly, even those selling their apartments charge in dollars,” he added.
