Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown has opened up about the challenges she faced after a serious accident she had in the past.
She described how the accident resulted in major damage to her right arm, requiring surgery to maintain its functionality.
McBrown disclosed that she has had four surgeries, with three being done in Ghana and one in Germany.
She noted that her right arm has been stabilized by the insertion of metal and screws.
During a conversation with Bola Ray on the Starr Chat show broadcasted on GhOne TV and monitored by GhanaWeb, McBrown revealed that she goes through regular agony but is thankful for coming out of the situation alive.
“I have endured a lot of pain. I have had surgery on my right arm four times. I can stretch it, but over time, the pain returns. I will be undergoing another surgery soon, and I hope it will be my last. I have metal and screws in my right arm, so any slight movement can cause them to shift, break, or come out, requiring me to fix it again.
“I have had three surgeries in Ghana and one in Germany. When I see the scar, it reminds me of how unpredictable life is. If a situation doesn’t kill you, just heal and move on,” she said.
It is worth recalling that on January 30, 2013, McBrown was reportedly involved in a car accident on the George Walker Bush Highway near Lapaz at around 2 a.m.
