Gospel musician Jak Alolome has stated that his decision to do a campaign song for the NDC’s Presidential Candidate, John Mahama, is not monetary.
He told Kwame Dadzie on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z that he did the song ‘JM Begye Yen’ out of his free will to support the ideals of Mahama.
“Nobody has given me any money,” he said.
He, however, noted that wouldn’t reject any form of appreciation that comes with the release of the song.
“I thought about the country first before doing the song. If anything comes later, Praise God. If that doesn’t happen too, all I am concerned about is to help rescue the country from the hands of the NPP,” he explained.
Other musicians who have over the years composed songs for the NDC are Nacee, Wayoosi, Mr. Beautiful, Jewel Ackah, among others.
