Kofi Donkor, the manager of Celestine Donkor, a gospel musician, has criticized online streaming platform Boomplay for failing to pay royalties to his artist.
In a post on Facebook, he also hinted that the digital service provider will be shutting down its office in Ghana.
In his post, he wrote: “Boomplay pay us our Royalties before you close down the Ghana office on Friday!!”
In a conversation with myjoyonline.com, Kofi Donkor stated that his artist has not been paid any royalties by Boomplay for more than a year.
“They have not paid years for more than a year. And I hear they are even planning on shutting down their office in Ghana. We need to take our monies now,” he said.
