Ghanaian gospel singer and television presenter, Empress Gifty, has confidently declared her sole legal right to the title “Empress,” mentioning on her UTV program that she has been formally approved to use the name.
She stressed that anyone else using the title is committing fraud. This announcement followed closely after actress Nana Ama McBrown revealed her choice to adopt the title “Her Excellency,” moving away from the “Empress” label she once associated with.
