In a discussion on TV3’s Key Points, Prof. Gyampo pointed out the possible consequences of Alan Kyerematen’s departure from the NPP, specifically regarding how it might affect the party’s electoral success in the Ashanti Region.
He emphasized his worries regarding the party’s unity, cautioning that the NPP could face collapse if its members do not come together and take firm steps to resolve internal conflicts.
“I cautioned them about Alan’s departure from the party and its potential to significantly reduce their votes in the Ashanti Region, but they did not heed the advice.
“I am warning them again that the party risks disintegration if its members do not unite to act.
“The party must be rescued from the grip of Akufo-Addo and his allies, and the current incompetent and manipulable executive must be completely overhauled,” Prof. Gyampo stated.
