NDC CAN KEEP NPP OUT OF POWER FOREVER IF THEY GET IT RIGHT – Sampson Ahi

Sampson Ahi, the Member of Parliament for Bodi, has declared that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) may struggle to win future elections in Ghana if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) does not develop its strategies properly.

Speaking on Accra-based Adom TV, Ahi expressed concerns about the electoral process, particularly in the Ashanti and Eastern Regions, which he described as questionable. “For a party to win elections with just two regions, there is something fishy in the register, especially in the Ashanti Region. If the NDC does things right, the NPP may never see power again in their lifetime,” he stated.

Addressing claims of voter apathy contributing to NPP’s poor performance in the 2024 elections, Ahi dismissed the argument as baseless, emphasizing that the defeat reflected Ghanaians’ widespread rejection of the party.

Mahama’s Vision for Change

Sampson Ahi further highlighted former President John Dramani Mahama’s commitment to change the perception that “all politicians are the same” with his new direction in governance. He pointed to Mahama’s proposed 24-Hour Economy as a solution to unemployment, promising it would create sustainable jobs that the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government failed to deliver.

According to Ahi, Mahama’s administration will provide a fresh approach to address the economic and social challenges currently facing Ghanaians.
