The Office of the President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama, has categorically refuted the authenticity of appointment and nomination lists currently circulating on social media.
In a statement dated Monday, December 16, 2024, and signed by Joyce Bawah Mogtari, Special Aide to the President-Elect, the office described the lists as “false and unauthorised.”
The statement urged the public to desist from sharing unverified information and to rely solely on official communications from the President-Elect’s office to avoid the spread of misinformation.
“We urge all to refrain from spreading unverified information and to rely on official communications from our office,” the release emphasized.
This clarification comes in response to growing speculation and unconfirmed reports of appointments purportedly made by HE John Dramani Mahama following his election victory.
The Office of the President-Elect has reiterated its commitment to transparency and assured the public that any official announcements will be made through credible and authorized channels.
