Entertainment critic, Sally Mann has recently expressed regret to Rex Omar after her critical remarks regarding his leadership at the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO).
During an interview on Hitz FM, Sally shared that Rex Omar was displeased with her statement that ‘he was not trustworthy with money’.
She remarked that her statements were rooted in the numerous accusations made against him while he served as GHAMRO chairman, but stressed that she holds personal respect for him.
She said, “Uncle Rex wasn’t happy with that, and I apologize for that.”
Previously, Sally had asked why Rex Omar, even though he is a skilled musician, ought to be regarded for a ministerial position.
She admired his music but criticized his leadership, claiming he found it difficult to manage people and resources.
Sally questioned why he was appointed to the Creative Arts Ministry, considering she believed he didn’t achieve results during his tenure at GHAMRO.
