Renowned Accra-based radio presenter Nana Romeo has filed a legal suit against Sally Frimpong Mann over alleged defamatory remarks made during a live broadcast.
Via his legal representatives, Nana Romeo alleged that Sally Mann falsely asserted he had been found guilty of rape and depicted him as dishonest.
He claims these remarks have damaged his reputation, resulted in public scorn, and caused a decline in goodwill.
The legal notice additionally involves Power FM and the host of the show for facilitating the environment in which the statements were expressed.
In the lawsuit, Nana Romeo demands a million Ghana cedis for defamation.
