Actress Nadia Buari has shared her views on Ghana’s film industry, urging for increased investment and improved infrastructure to support the industry’s growth.
The acclaimed Ghanaian actress highlighted the difficulties encountered by the industry in relation to Nigeria’s, especially regarding the availability of cinemas, during an interview with Giovanni Caleb on 3FM as reported by MyNewsGh.
Nadia Buari additionally remarked on the insufficient backing for the Ghanaian film sector from significant stakeholders.
“Imagine with our little resources; we’re creating magic,” Buari said.
“But if we had more, we’d achieve even greater things. Look at Nigeria; they have cinema halls in every state. Investors can invest in projects, knowing they have guaranteed returns. In Ghana, we’re limited to just a few cinemas.”
