Sammy Gyamfi, serving as the Acting Managing Director of the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC), has firmly rejected claims that he spent GHS173,940 on new office furniture and a refrigerator.
On February 15, he addressed these allegations through a Facebook post, calling them “totally false.”
Gyamfi made it clear that since he began his role on January 20, 2025, he hasn’t changed any of the office furnishings.
He pointed out that the chair, desk, and fridge in his office were already there before he took over.
“I have made no changes to my office since assuming office as Ag. MD for the PMMC. All the things in my office, including the chair, desk, fridge etc., were there before I assumed office. Not even the A4 sheets or pens on my office desk have been changed,” he stated.
Additionally, Gyamfi encouraged the public to verify facts before believing statements from the New Patriotic Party (NPP), whom he accused of spreading misinformation.
He referred to those making these accusations as “hirelings,” still dealing with their disappointment from losing the election.
