Miracle Films CEO, Samuel Nyamekye has reached out to the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, asking for assistance in setting up a YouTube office in Kumasi.
This request followed a meeting with the minister aimed at addressing the decline of the Kumawood film industry and exploring ways to rejuvenate it.
Miracle Films believes that having a YouTube office in Kumasi would greatly benefit the revival of Kumawood.
They recognize YouTube as a vital platform for not just musicians, but also actors, actresses, and directors.
Yet, they face challenges because the absence of a local office in Kumasi limits their ability to make the most of YouTube.
The company explained that contacting YouTube is difficult since all interactions must happen via email, which can be cumbersome.
They pointed out that Nigerian YouTubers have the advantage of a local YouTube office, allowing them to address issues directly and more easily.
