APOLOGIZE TO GHANAIANS FOR SAYING BETTING TAX WAS NOT IMPLEMENTED — Shatta Wale Tackles Former Finance Minister, Amin Adam

Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has requested that former Finance Minister Mohammed Zain Adam issue an apology to the Ghanaian people.

The ex-Minister, speaking to the media after the 2025 budget announcement, asserted that the prior administration failed to execute the vetting tax.

The current Minister has challenged his assertions, insisting that the betting tax was put into effect in the second quarter of 2024.

Ato Forson maintained that the government gathered Ghs 80 billion in taxes from betting.

In response to Amin Adam’s statements, Shara Wale, a well-known punter, requested that he apologize to Ghanaians for his assertions.

His opinion expressed on social media read “Please sir who is the “We” nu or u r talking about “Wee”
Cuz it is true ,”Wee” cannot implement that,….. Ibe wicked human beings like you who can do that 😡

You forget say you be worker under the NPP government ? Or which “We” are you referring to ?😡
