YOU’LL BE DECLARED WANTED AND A FUGITIVE OF JUSTICE AGAIN IF YOU FAIL TO SHOW UP ON JUNE 2 — OSP Warns Ken Ofori Atta
The Office of the Special Prosecutor has indicated that should Ken Ofori Atta not present himself for investigation, they will have no choice but to place his name back on the wanted list.
The OSP also stated that it would issue an Interpol Red Notice and initiate extradition procedures in any jurisdiction he may be in if he fails to make himself available on June 2, 2025, as he has committed.
This follows reports suggesting that the former finance minister has taken legal action against the OSP for labeling him a fugitive.
In the meantime, former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has initiated legal proceedings against the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) following his declaration as wanted.
Ofori-Atta is requesting that the court prevent the OSP from issuing additional public statements about him until the legal matter is completely settled.
