Justin Kodua Frimpong, serving as the general secretary for the New Patriotic Party, has spoken about the recent arrest of media personality Okatakyie Afrifa.
He expressed his views through a post on his official Facebook page, which has been sighted by NKONKONSA.com.
In this post, Justin Kodua was clear in saying that certain officials from the NDC were behind the media personality’s arrest.
He argued that what the NDC did was a serious danger to democracy and restricts freedom of speech by limiting the rights of the media personality.
He wrote, “The arrest of Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, a journalist, by the NDC government, is a dangerous attack on Democracy and freedom of speech”.
He added that “Ghana must not descend into tyranny. He must be released now!”.
