TWO ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY STEALING GOODS FROM SHOPS GUTTED BY FIRE AT ADUM

Early on Friday morning, March 21, in the central business district of Adum, Kumasi, a fire broke out, leading to the arrest of two people.

These individuals were trying to steal from shops damaged by the fire.

The fire started in buildings with several shops and rapidly spread, causing significant damage throughout the area.

The blaze began at the popular Blue Light arena, which is close to Hello FM, around 6 am. Despite the efforts of firefighters to control it, the fire spread quickly.

As firefighters focused on extinguishing the flames, some people attempted to loot items from the damaged stores.

Police and fire officers quickly arrived at the scene to prevent further thefts and to restore order.

They worked diligently to maintain public safety and prevent additional incidents, while staying alert to ensure the situation remained under control.
